My journey within the beauty and salon industry has been very blessed but certainly not easy. When I started in 2013, I knew nothing about it. It was both physically and mentally challenging, but I continued to pursue it as I genuinely enjoyed the company of my clients and the work I was doing.  Starting under a few established salons, I quickly began to realize that I had more to offer.  So I went to my motherland, Tokyo, to learn Asian lash styles then came back to Hawaii to learn broader western esthetics. When I decided to open my own business, I worked 2 to 3 concurrent jobs while continuing to believe in myself and refusing to give up. I struggled with how to promote myself on a limited budget.  During this time, though, I invested a lot of time into research and taking classes to learn techniques and the types of products offered from all over the world. I considered this difficult time as a positive opportunity and over a few years, I have amassed 15 esthetic certifications while continuing to grow my business. Marketing and use of social media have always been my biggest challenge, but I am proud to say that I grew my business via word of mouth through hard work, treating everybody well, and believing in myself. In the end, this has become my passion so please know that I will always offer you the BEST I have: my 100%.
